For the Chicken & Marinade:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
For the Parmesan Cheese Mixture:
- ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup shredded provolone cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup ranch dressing
- ½ tsp garlic powder
For the Crispy Topping:
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
Instructions
Step 1: Marinate the Chicken
- Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness (about ½ inch).
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Coat the chicken in the marinade and let it rest for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor).
Step 2: Cook the Chicken
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a little oil. Sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Transfer chicken to a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Step 3: Prepare the Parmesan Topping
- In a bowl, mix Parmesan, provolone, mozzarella, ranch dressing, and garlic powder until combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, melted butter, and garlic powder.
Step 4: Assemble & Broil
- Remove chicken from the oven and spread the cheese mixture evenly on top.
- Sprinkle with the buttery panko topping.
- Broil on high for 2-3 minutes until the topping is golden brown and crispy.
